The MSP series submersible pump is designed for reliable operation in demanding underground and surface water applications. It is a vertical, multistage, centrifugal submersible unit in which the motor and hydraulic section are integrated into a single compact assembly. The pump is intended for continuous or intermittent duty in clean or slightly contaminated water and is suitable for use in mines, construction dewatering, municipal and industrial water supply, groundwater lowering, and agricultural irrigation.The hydraulic part consists of multiple impellers and diffusers arranged in series to generate high heads at relatively low flow per stage. This multistage configuration allows the MSP submersible pump to deliver substantial total dynamic head while maintaining good efficiency. Enclosed or semi‑open impellers are selected according to the required duty and the characteristics of the pumped liquid. Flow passages are optimized to reduce hydraulic losses and minimize the risk of clogging by small suspended solids.The motor is a squirrel‑cage induction type, specially designed for submerged operation. It is filled with a suitable liquid or dielectric fluid for optimal cooling and insulation. The motor is located beneath or above the hydraulic section, depending on the model, and is directly coupled to the pump shaft to ensure precise alignment and low vibration. Built‑in thermal protection and moisture detection options can be provided to protect the motor windings from overheating and water ingress.The MSP submersible pump is constructed from robust, corrosion‑resistant materials such as stainless steel, alloy steels, and high‑grade cast iron. These materials are selected to withstand abrasive wear, chemical attack, and the high pressures typical of deep‑well or deep‑shaft installations. Critical wear components, including wear rings, shaft sleeves, and bearings, are designed for long service life and easy replacement during scheduled maintenance.The pump incorporates multiple shaft bearings lubricated by the pumped fluid or an internal lubrication system. Guide bearings are spaced along the shaft to maintain accurate alignment and minimize deflection under hydraulic loads. Mechanical seals or a combination of mechanical seals and lip seals are used to provide reliable sealing between the motor and the pumped liquid, preventing contamination of the motor cavity.Installation of the MSP submersible pump is straightforward. It can be suspended on a discharge column pipe or installed inside a casing pipe or shaft. The compact, submerged design eliminates the need for a separate pump house, reduces noise levels, and minimizes the risk of cavitation, since the pump operates below the water level. Electrical power is supplied through a watertight, armored cable, and the pump can be controlled by standard motor starters, soft starters, or variable‑frequency drives for energy‑efficient speed control.Overall, the MSP submersible pump offers a combination of high reliability, efficient hydraulic performance, and ease of installation and service, making it an effective solution for a wide range of underground water handling and dewatering tasks.
